The Lions are now 15-10 and 7-4 in the conference after defeating the Anne Arundel Community College Riverhawks 88-76.
The Lions once again started off the game firing on all cylinders, jumping out to a 12-1 lead just 2 minutes into the game. The Riverhawks would battle back and take the lead with a three, 18-17 with 10 min to go in the first half. The Lions would gain another double digit lead up 32-21 with 5 minutes to go but the Riverhawks again came back to tie it up at 32-32 before heading into halftime up 41-37.
The Lions would tie the game back up at 47-47 after Elson Berhanu sunk the free throw to complete the and one opportunity. #24 Jeremiah Stroman on AACC getting his fourth foul aided the Lions as they would go on a 18-7 run once he went to the bench to give the Lions a lead at 67-56. The Lions would hold a lead to close out the game and win 88-76.
