DUNDALK, MD – Your CCBC Dundalk Lions men's basketball team tried to keep their home undefeated streak alive as they hosted the Allegany College of Maryland Trojans on January 19.
The Trojans' Jordan Johnson opened the scoring with a three-pointer after the game went scoreless for the first four and a half minutes. The score tied as #11 Jordan Foster (Gilman) quickly responded with a three-pointer of his own.
Down 31-24 at the half, the Lions would rebound and would come within one point several times during the second half. The Trojans won 61-57, ending the Lions' undefeated-at-home winning streak.
The game's high-scorer was the Trojan's Jordan Johnson (25). High scorers for the Lions were #3 Murray Grant (Tompkins) and Foster (13). Grant also hit a double-double with 13 REB.
The Lions are on the road Sunday January 23 versus Howard Community College. Their next home game is Wednesday January 26 as the Lions host Montgomery College.
