Playoff Bound

The Lions are officially in the playoffs! On Tuesday, May 10th the Lions will travel to CCBC Catonsville and play College of Southern Maryland in a single elimination 9 inning game starting at 11am. The winner of the game between CSM and Dundalk will play Catonsville later in the day. The same thing will be happening at Chesapeake with Garrett vs Alleghany as the playoff will go from 8 teams to 4 in a day. The 4 teams left in the playoffs will start playing double elimination baseball on Friday with the champion being crowned on Sunday.

When the Lions played CSM the first time the teams split the doubleheader. The first game went to CSM 20-2, It was a 4-2 game until a 16 run 6th inning catapulted the Hawks to victory. Game two started out quite offensively as we were scoreless after 3 but the Hawks opened it up in the 4th for the Lions to make the 9-6 comeback victory.
