Post-Season Awards

MD JUCO and Region XX released their awards for this past semester and the Lions have two players being honored:

Chaney Skeans - All-Maryland JUCO Baseball Second Team

Nate Griffin - All Region XX Honorable mention

Skeans finished the season with a .370/.454/.481 slash line. His .370 average is 7th in MD JUCO. Skeans led the team with 2 homeruns, 30 hits, and 17 runs. He was also second on the team with 15 RBI, 12 walks, and 6 stolen bases all from the lead off spot.

Griffin pitched 6 complete games in his 11 starts. In those 10 starts he pitched 64 innings with 64 strikeouts. Griffin's one relief appearance came in extra innings to hold the lead and secure the win for the Lions. Excluding playoffs Griffin pitched the 3rd most innings in all of NJCAA Division II baseball.
