CCBC Dundalk Recognize Sophomores Brack and Griffin

Jake Brack

Jake has been with the program the last three seasons. After a shortened 2020 season, he made the decision to come back and continue helping build the program. Since that moment he has been the ultimate leader, helping to mentor the younger players and being an example of how things are done. Throughout this season, Jake has been one of the most consistent and versatile players appearing in almost every game as either a first, second, or third baseman and as a pitcher. On March 20 at Anne Arundel Community College, Jake enjoyed his first career home run. Jake will finish his time at CCBC Dundalk with a degree in General Studies and already has a job liked up to join the Port of Baltimore as a longshoreman.

Nate Griffin

Nate transferred to CCBC Dundalk in the spring of 2020 and has been the top pitcher on the squad ever since. His work ethic is unmatched and his desire to compete at a high level has driven him to be one of the best pitchers in the country. This season, Nate currently leads Division Two with six complete games, and third in total innings with 64 innings pitched. In his career here at CCBC Dundalk, Nate had pitched 80 innings, recording 75 strikeouts. In the fall of 2021, Nate is set to move on from CCBC Dundalk and attend Division Three Neumann University located in Philadelphia, Pa., where he will pitch for the Knights and continue his academics studying Sports Management.
