Lions lose to Owls

It was a rough one for the Lions as they lost 10-0 in 7 innings against the Harford Community College Fighting Owls.

Ben Hall was cruising, only giving up 1 hit, until the top of the 3rd when the Lions committed an error with 2 outs to let a man reach base. The following batter hit a two run shot out of the park. Hall ended the inning with a strikeout making it five on the day and three in the inning.

Jared Jackson came in relief for Hall and had five strikeouts in two innings.

While the Lions pitchers were racking up the strikeouts so were the Fighting Owls, stifling the Lions bats who did not get their first hit until the 7th inning from Mike Newsome.

The Lions head out to Cecil tomorrow with first pitch scheduled for 3:30pm.
