Onwudiegwu Commits to Alcorn State

Malachy Onwudiegwu graduated from CCBC on May 31 and will now continue his collegiate career at Alcorn State University (Lorman, Miss.) after last week signing his letter of intent.

Onwudiegwu was a two-year starter for the Lions men's basketball team and averaged 13 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting. 

He is excited to attend and get started at Alcorn.

"It's country out there," Onwudiegwu said about his visit to the university. "But I feel like I will be focused to be successful in life, earn my degree and play baketball."
