Lions, Lakers split doubleheader

Dundalk, Md. - On Saturday, April 27th Garrett College ended up coming down to Dundalk because of the weather. The Lions and the Lakers ended up splitting the double header. The first game went into extra innings and the Lakers won 5-3. Game two the Lions won easily 11-3.

In game one after five innings it was tied 3-3 and Charles Lebron had all three RBI for the Lions. Joe Rubacalba pitched the full seven innings but the game was still tied at 3-3. In the ninth Garrett scored two more making it 5-3

In game two Chance Gensler pitch seven innings only giving up three runs but this was enough to win game two. The offense for the Lions was on fire in game two. Seven different batters recorded a hit. A different seven recorded at least one RBI.

The next double header the Lions will play will be on Tuesday, April 30th the Lions will travel to Montgomery College. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
