Cougars pummel Lions in two-game slobberknocker

Frederick, Md. - On Saturday, April 6 the Lions played a double header against Frederick Community College. They lost both. Game one ended in five innings with a score 13-3. The second game finished 8-0 after seven innings.

The first game the Lions were down 11-0 entering the top of the third. They scored three in the top of the third but gave up two more in the bottom of the third. The Lions had a total of six hits and one walk. Charles Lebron and Travis Buckmon both had a double and RBI each. JP Melby also had an RBI.

The second game Lions struggled offensively as they only had four hits in the seven inning game.

It is hard to win games when you do not have base runners.
