CCBC Athletics Hall of Fame Spotlight: Kendra Baldwin

KENDRA BALDWIN
Class of 2013
CCBC Dundalk
Basketball
2004-2006

A 2004 graduate of Woodlawn High School (Baltimore, Md.), Kendra Baldwin is described by her former CCBC Dundalk coach as an intense and intimidating post presence.

While at CCBC Dundalk, Baldwin consistently demonstrated a passion to win, which made her teammates better and her team successful in every sense of the word.

A power forward, she was selected second-team All-NJCAA Region XX (2004-2005) and first-team All-Maryland JUCO Conference (2005-2006).

Baldwin also earned several team awards, such as Most Valuable Player (2005-2006), Athletic Achievement Award (2004-2005) and Dedication Award (2005-2006).

She graduated with distinction from CCBC, earning an Associate of Arts degree (2006) with a 3.5 grade point average.

Her passion and drive continued to be on display at the four-year level.

A two-year starter at power forward for Notre Dame of Maryland University (Baltimore, Md.), Baldwin scored 538 points during her NCAA Division III career (2007-2009).

Considered undersized by many, she once again was a major presence near the basket in the former 16-team Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.

Baldwin was named the team's most valuable player during her senior season (2008-2009).
