The 2020-21 season will be Taylor's eighth as Men’s Basketball head coach at CCBC Dundalk.

In his first, the 2013-14 season, he led the Lions to a 21-8 (10-4 Maryland JUCO) record and a regular season conference title.  The Lions have gone 67-77 (34-36 Maryland JUCO) in Taylor's seven seasons at CCBC Dundalk.

In the 2019-20 season, the Lions went 21-11 (9-4 Maryland JUCO). In the post-season Region XX tournament, the Lions won the quarterfinals in a come-from-behind overtime victory as well as the semi-final contest. The Lions finished taking second place in the regional tournament.

Prior to joining the Lions, Taylor was an assistant men’s basketball coach for Randy Gregory at CCBC Catonsville (2006-2013). As a Cardinal, he designed practices, advised and developed student-athletes academically and athletically, and aided with their transition to four-year universities and colleges.

A 2001 graduate of Perry Hall High School, Taylor played three years of varsity basketball for the Gators. He moved on to play two seasons (2002-2004) of college basketball at CCBC Catonsville where he averaged 12.5 points, seven rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. After graduating from CCBC with an Associate of Arts General Studies degree, Taylor attended and played basketball at Wright State University, a Division I school in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Wright State in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.

By day, Taylor is a benefits authorizer for the federal government. He currently resides in Baltimore.
