Sadly the Lions lost against the Frederick Community College 73-68.
Christian Wright led the Lions with 29 points shooting 9-11 from the field and 5-6 from 3 with 7 rebounds but fouled out. Mohamed Bundu had 14 points and 15 rebounds. Jayson Mouzon had 20 points. The downfall of the Lions was that only 5 points were scored between the other 4 players.
The Lions started out in hole after the Cougars opened the game up with 3 straight threes. But the Lions clawed back and tied the game at 9. The Lions were down 10 at one point but finished the first half down 41-32.
The second half started out hot for the Lions and cut the lead down to one with a score of 46-45 with less than 15 minutes left. The on point lead was held to 49-48 but then the Cougars went on a 10-0 run. With a little under 3 minutes left Wright hit a 3 to cut the lead to 67-65. The Lions created turnovers and drew fouls but nothing could go their way in the end and they fall 73-68
