Men's Basketball: Lions Fall to Fighting Owls on the Road

Bel Air, Md. – CCBC Dundalk lost this past weekend to Maryland Juco Conference foe Harford Community College 67-80. Richard Hibbert (Patterson) and Mohamad Bundu (Largo) led the Lions with 16 points each.

There is a big break in the schedule for Dundalk (10-15) since the Maryland JUCO tournament runs Friday through Sunday at Hagerstown Community College and sadly the Lions did not qualify.

Dundalk will close out the season on Saturday, February 23rd.

Hibbert made a three-pointer to open up the game and Dundalk never had the lead again. At the half the Lions only trailed by five at 36-29.

The Lions came out hot after the break and brought the game within one at 48-47 with 13 minutes left. Then the Fighting Owls broke away with the game having the lead until the end.

Dundalk had four starters score in double digits. The problem was that was all they had scoring wise.

Dundalk's final game will be at home against Potomac State College of WVU on Saturday, February 23rd.   Please come and honor the sophomore class, tipoff is at 1 p.m.
