Lions fall to Dragons 86-77

COLUMBIA, MD - Howard Community College defended their gym with a 86-77 win over the CCBC Dundalk Lions Saturday afternoon.

The game opened trading baskets until the score was tied 10-10. Halfway through the first half the score was 19 all. Four minutes later Dundalk was down 30-20. Dundalk finished the first half down five with a score of 40-35.

At the time Breon Williams (Parkville) had a game high 15 points shooting 5-7 from three. Williams finished the game with 15 after only taking one shot in the second half.

The Lions fought back in the second and had a 47-46 lead with just under 16 minutes left in the game.  With just 12 minutes left the game was tied at 56. Dundalk then went three minutes without a point. Dundalk clawed back to be down by four, but their efforts fell short.

The Lions look to bounce back at home Tuesday February 5, against the Anne Arundel Community College Riverhawks at 7pm.
