NORTH EAST, MD -
The Lions found the key to success this past weekend at the Cecil College Holiday Tournament. Ending a six-game losing streak, the Lions (2-10) entered the game as underdogs to Cuyahoga Community College (10-2). CCBC took advantage of Cuyahoga's nine first-half turnovers to go into the break leading 33-25.

Keeping the same momentum from the first half, CCBC Dundalk stayed ahead of Cuyahoga throughout the game. Causing more turnovers and finishing shots, the Lions were able to capture their third win of the season with a final score of 68-59.

Keijuan Major (Indian River) led the Lions with 13 points and seven rebounds. Tyshaun Walker (Bladensberg) led in assists with four and silvered in rebounds with six. Walker, Richard Hibbert (Patterson), and Mohamad Bundu (Largo) ended the game with double-digit scoring, each with 11. Hibbert went 3-4 in 3PM-A.

The Lions complete their December road trip with Day Two of the Cecil College Holiday Tournament on Saturday December 15 against the Monroe Community College Tribunes (Rochester, N.Y.). Game time is 1 p.m.
