Dundalk, Md. - It was a rough and long Sunday for the Lions losing both games of the double header against Northampton Community College 14-8 and 20-4.

In game one the Lions jumped out to 5-1 lead in the 3rd. It all started with a leadoff single by Ivan Martinez but wild throw to first gave him the opportunity to advance to third. Charles Lebron hit a ground ball to first and instead of stepping on the bag he made a late throw home. Bryant Gutierrez followed that up with a single. Travis Buckmon moved the runners over with a ground ball. Chad Rawlerson hit a double to score both of the runners. Chase Uhlich reached on an error and Rawlerson scored. Jack Brack singled and then Christopher Dockins walked to load the bases bringing Ivan Martinez up to bat for the second time in the inning and he delivered with a single scoring one.

Before the bottom of the sixth the score was 11-5 Northampton. Ivan Martinez lead of the inning with a triple and scored on a balk. Charles Lebron singled and then Bryant Gutierrez was hit by a pitch. Lebron tagged up on a fly ball to make it to third and a Ryan Gomez single scored Lebron to make the score 11-7.

In the 7th the Lions were down 14-7. Jack Brake started the inning off with a single. Charles Lebron walked. They both stole both safe. A wild pitch scores Brack to make the game 14-8 and that was all she wrote for game one.

Game two was even worse for the Lions. It was 20-0 before the bottom of the fourth inning when Charles Lebron and Mateo Gil both had solo homeruns making the score 20-2.

In the bottom of the 5th Chayne Radnetter singled followed by a Chase Uhlich single. Then JP Melby singled to score Radnetter. After that Charles Lebron singled and scored Uhlich. The game finished 20-4 after five innings.

The next game will be at CCBC Essex Tuesday, March 26th at 3:30pm
