CCBC Dundalk recognizes 2019 scholar athletes

CCBC Dundalk recognizes 2019 scholar athletes

Dundalk, Md. - At its 2019 Year-End Athletics celebration, the CCBC Dundalk Lions recognized the following scholar athletes for their academic achievement. 

Ethan Alioto (Catonsville | Infield, Baseball) started at CCBC in the fall of 2017 and will be completing his AA degree in General Studies. He currently has a GPA of 3.38 and will be transferring to the University of MD College Park. He is looking to further his education in Kinesiology. 

Andy Duarte (EBT Grand Street Campus | Catcher, Baseball) started at CCBC in the fall of 2017 and will be completing his AA degree in General Studies. He currently has a GPA of 3.29 and is looking to transfer to a 4 yr college somewhere in the south where he can continue to be an effective catcher and focus on a Business Degree.

Chance Gensler (Kenwood | LHP, Baseball) started at CCBC in the fall of 2017 and will be completing his AA degree in General Studies. He currently has a GPA of 3.25 and will be transferring to the University of MD Eastern Shore. He is looking to further his education in Physical Therapy. 

Kaii Gilliam (Milford Mill | Point Guard, Men's Basketball) started at CCBC in the fall of 2017 and will be completing his AA degree in General Studies. He currently has a GPA of 3.25 and will be transferring to a 4 year college. He is looking to further his education in either Business or Allied Health.

Joe Rubalcaba (Catonsville | RHP, Baseball)) started at CCBC in the fall of 2017 and will be completing his AA degree in General Studies. He currently has a GPA of 4.0 and will be transferring to a 4 year college. He has a few ideas, but has yet to commit. He is looking to continue his education in Business.

The criteria for scholar athlete is a minimum GPA of 3.25, at least 36 college credits at CCBC, and sophomore athletic standing. Congratulations men!
